Many people have asked me if Apple makes or plans to release digital picture frames. The answer (to my knowledge) is that they don't, though often times consumer electronics get outsourced by one company to another and released under another brand. But it looks as though Apple has stayed out of the digital frame market so far.
However that doesn't mean that Apple Mac users can't take advantage of great digital frames from other manufacturers. A Mac generally stores and manages pictures in the same formats as PCs, and can support the same memory devices that transfer photos to digital frames. Plus, if you are a Mac user or have used a Mac, you know that it has superior media editing applications as part of its iLife suite. Photo editing, slideshow creation, adding of music to slideshows, and many other multi-media creations are a breeze with a Mac.
This means there are tons of Apple Mac computers out there with lots of great digital media waiting to be unleashed. Digital picture frames are a perfert way to display these creations in your home or office, whenever you are not in front of your Mac or iPhone. So if you are a Mac user, and want a device to show off all the great slideshows you've created in your iPhoto or iMovie application, a digital photo frame from Kodak, Smartparts, or Portable USA are all great options.

One great thing about being a Mac user are the plethora of forums, magazines, and blogs dedicated to Apple related products, and while reading one of them recently, I found a review of the Portable USA PU10-W Digital Frame on the MacLife website. It does a pretty good review of the frame, specifically for Mac users. Strengths noted in the review are the quality of the display, bluetooth capability, and MP3 audio support.
Overall they give it a 4 on a scale of 5.
