Digital Photo Frame: How About at Your Tailgate?

Tyrod Taylor 150x150 Digital Photo Frame: How About at Your Tailgate?

I'm a huge college football fan, and I attend games almost every weekend.  In fact, I tailgate with the same group of friends each week at the same spot at the same school.  So how pleasantly surprised was I to find a new tradition brought by someone in the group:  bring a digital photo frame each Saturday with pictures from the previous week!

Our tailgate time is treasured, its a time for food, drinks, friends, and football.  Usually the weather is beautiful and it makes me and my friends look forward to fall each year.  We end up taking a lot of digital pictures and in the past they've been shared via email, or someone's Flickr or Picassa account.

But now my friend Sarah loads all the pictures from the previous week up on her Kodak digital picture frame and brings the frame to the tailgate each week with pictures from the previous week!  The frame now gets lots of attention.  Its probably 3rd or 4th after the cooler, grill, and big screen TV.

I was pretty impressed with Sarah's Kodak EASYSHARE P720.  She knew exactly how to use it and how to show off all the features.  I actually didn't tell her of my knowledge in the area of digital frames, so there was no showing off.  Sarah simple could make that gadget hum.

Of course after the game we all return to the tailgate spot for more celebrating (aka drinking) and another meal of grilled meat.  I decided to pop the memory card out of my digital camera and into Sarah's Kodak digital frame to show off all the great shots of football action plays to the group (plus some other funny photos).  This was lots better than passing around a 2 inch LCD screen camera to share photos.

I have a feeling the digital photo frame tradition at our tailgate will continue.  I off course directed everyone to a great website I knew about for digital frames (wink)...
