Video Post: Transferring Pictures With a Digital Frame

Have you ever wanted to transfer digital pictures from one memory device to another? Do you have a bunch of pictures on a SD memory card and want to move them to another or to a USB flash drive so you can share them with someone else, or put them on another device such as a DVD or Blu-Ray player?

In the video in this post, you will see how to transfer pictures from one memory device to another using a digital photo frame. Here we happen to be using a Kodak 5-inch digital photo frame, but you can do a similar function with most any digital frame available.

Mac Users are Digital Frame Lovers Too

maclife logo1 Mac Users are Digital Frame Lovers TooMany people have asked me if Apple makes or plans to release digital picture frames. The answer (to my knowledge) is that they don't, though often times consumer electronics get outsourced by one company to another and released under another brand. But it looks as though Apple has stayed out of the digital frame market so far.

However that doesn't mean that Apple Mac users can't take advantage of great digital frames from other manufacturers. A Mac generally stores and manages pictures in the same formats as PCs, and can support the same memory devices that transfer photos to digital frames. Plus, if you are a Mac user or have used a Mac, you know that it has superior media editing applications as part of its iLife suite. Photo editing, slideshow creation, adding of music to slideshows, and many other multi-media creations are a breeze with a Mac.
